New York City Track and Field Archives

During the past 4-5 months. 1000’s of new performances before the year 2000, have been added to the database.  As with all databases, duplicates will eventually be eliminated and corrections made to the times, distances, and heights. Corrections will also be made to the names of all the athletes. There are still lots of performances to add, but we are missing loads of information from those early years. With that in mind, I appeal to all of our present and past coaches to add your name to the distinguished list of coaches who have submitted performances from their teams.

In order to appreciate the new data, take a look at the the all-time listings by clicking on the fat/h list, as many of the past performances were hand-timed. While fat is now considered to be the only accepted method for record purposes, we must not forget that most of the PSAL’s history used hand-timing. Enjoy the listings and keep sending in those “old” records.
